OUR POLICIES

DOGS & CATS:

Our staff follows a rigorous program of flea and tick prevention. We recommend year around treatment like Bravecto or Frontline Plus. If your pet is found to have fleas we will administer a Capstar and if they have ticks we will administer a dose of Frontline Plus at a cost to you.

We want your pet to be social, so for that reason, we require all pets to be current on vaccinations. The health of your pet is of the utmost importance to us. We want to provide a safe environment for all animals that we Board and Groom.

We prefer that vaccinations be administered 10 days prior to arrival. Puppies & Kittens must complete the full series of vaccinations, including the rabies vaccine, prior to their scheduled stay.

All pets over the age of 12 months must be spay or neutered for the safety and sanitation of our facility and MOST IMPORTANTLY the health of your pet as they age.

DOG VACCINATIONS:

The following vaccinations are required after the initial series of puppy shots:

Rabies – annual or three-year vaccine
DA2PP-Distemper/Adenovirus Type 2/Parvovirus/Parainfluenza – annual or
three-year vaccine

Food and Treats:

We encourage you to bring your pet’s own food and treats, that’s the best way to keep their digestive system in balance. Please pack each serving separately in a disposable bag or container with their name written on it. We serve two meals a day, breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening.  Arrangements can be made if your pet is on a specific feeding schedule (i.e. puppy/kitten or diabetic). The health and safety of each of our guests are of paramount importance to us. We’ll accommodate any special dietary needs your pet may have.  We don’t charge extra for feeding or administering medication.

If your pet does not have a sensitive system, dogs will be fed a highly rated (made in the USA), “Victor” brand chicken and lamb, brown rice, oatmeal dog food. This special blend has been chosen for its tastiness and digestibility, making it the perfect choice for dogs in a boarding situation. Cats will be fed “Victor” Multi-pro dry or canned food

Rawhide Policy:

We ask that you don’t bring rawhides, we do not feed them at our facility (***they are not digestible and are a choking/intestinal hazard).

Illness or Injury:

If your pet becomes ill during their stay our staff is very experienced in evaluating the situation and administering proper care.  If the illness begins to worsen or is serious they will immediately transport your pet to your vet or the afterhours emergency vet.

Dogs are pack animals and play with teeth and paws. Therefore, even under supervision, nicks and scrapes can occur. In the event of a serious injury, we will contact you immediately and provide medical attention. If the injury is minor, we will advise you at the time of departure.
